Carlo Ancelotti has officially won his 2nd LaLiga title, as Real Madrid secured victory thanks to Barcelona’s defeat with Girona.

The Merengues had already ensured three points earlier today by sweeping Cadiz aside 3-0.

It meant Barcelona had to win away to Girona FC in the Catalan derby to postpone the party, but they fumbled a lead to lose 4-2.

Ancelotti had already won LaLiga with Real Madrid in the 2021-22 campaign.

The Italian is the first coach ever to win all five major European League titles, taking Serie A with Milan in 2003-04, the Premier League with Chelsea in 2009-10, Ligue 1 at Paris Saint-Germain in 2012-13 and the Bundesliga for Bayern Munich in 2016-17.

Ancelotti can’t stop winning

Ancelotti has also taken Real Madrid to the Champions League semi-final, where he hopes to win the trophy for the fifth time after 2002-03 and 2006-07 with Milan, 2013-14 and 2021-22 for Real Madrid.

The Italian tactician’s trophy cabinet is rounded out by four European Supercups, three editions of the Club World Cup, two Spanish Super cups, two Copa del Rey trophies, one Coppa Italia, the Supercoppa Italiana, the FA Cup, the FA Community Shield and the DFL-Supercup.
