Cool Whip, not the kind you eat, more like the one who might eat you.  He is massive, aggressive, fierce, and nearly unrideable.  He is just one buck off away from beating the legendary bull, "Bushwacker".

Right now Cool Whip is tied with Bushwacker for the most consecutive buck offs at 42.  When the light yellow bull comes out of the chute at in his next outing, he will be gunning for more than just getting the cowboy off.  He will be trying to break the record to become the bull with the most consecutive buck offs.

Wait.  No he won't.

Cool Whip doesn't have any idea what is at stake, which is what makes it even better.  He never knows the count, he doesn't know the cowboy's name, he doesn't know how much money is on the line.  What he knows is that he gives his all every single time the gate cracks and it is his mission and job to buck as hard as he possibly can - and he does.

Cool Whip also seems to know the difference between the chute and home.  He's like butter in your hands when he is outside the arena.  He likes to be scratched, and he is just an easy going individual.

Load him in the chute, all the rules change.  He's fierce, he is strong, he is bucking with all of his 1,200 pound might.  He can and might hurt you, although, I don't think it would be intentional.  He's just that good.  Watch for yourself.

Not only will cowboys be shooting for being crowned the World Champion and claiming the $1 million prize at the PBR World Finals, but it is possible there might be history to be made in the bull category. Cool Whip has not been listed in the draw for Round 1, but could make an appearance in later rounds.

Stock contractor HD Page talked about the bull to PBR.

“It is a neat deal because he’s in elite company. Any bull that can even buck on the PBR tour that many outs is a great bull. Every week, he had to face a guy that was on top of his game that weekend. And normally, they hang on with their left hand, which is the way he turns. So he’s had a narrow window of great guys to have to try to buck off, and he’s been able to get that done. So it’s a pretty good accomplishment, I’d say, for him to be able to do that.”

The last time he bucked was in the Elimination Rounds of the PBR World Finals when Alex Cerqueira was thrown off before the buzzer.  Cool Whip's next outing could be at the World Finals Championship round and if it is, there is no doubt it will be after a full body massage.

One of the bull's owners, Staci Addison, talked about her bull and the special connection she has with him to PBR.

“He’s so cute,” Addison said. “His eyes will get dirty or crusty, and a lot of bulls won’t let you touch their face, but he’ll let me clean his eyes and clean his ears. That’s a really big deal, to be able to have him shut his eyes and let my hands rub across his eyes.”

His eyes and face aren't the only thing Cool Whip enjoys having rubbed.  He's a whole body kind of guy.  Addison talked about their routine.

“I spend probably 20 minutes working from one shoulder to his backside and down his butt on one side, and when I get done, I don’t even have to ask him. He turns around, and I start on that shoulder and go back the other way and down again,” Addison said with a laugh. “He loves it. He loves scratches, period, but I really do try and massage him. His muscles will twitch when you hit a spot, and you know that’s something that needs to be worked out. So I get the heel of my hand in there, my thumb in there, and then when that twitching stops, I move on.”

Maybe that's the secret?  He's get a full body massage on the days he is required to work for eight seconds.

No matter what the secret is, or the formula for his success, no one can take it away from him.  He might be the most famous bull in history before he is done.  Most of us will just stand on the sidelines and watch, but it won't be without a little emotion, and some biased cheering for the bull.
