NFL world makes fun of Bills for baffling draft decision

The Buffalo Bills left fans stunned on Thursday with their decision in the NFL Draft.

The Bills held the No. 28 overall pick and traded it to the rival Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs then used that pick to draft Xavier Worthy, who ran the fastest 40-yard dash time in NFL Scouting Combine history.

Fans could not believe that the Bills would give up their pick to the team that keeps knocking them out of the playoffs, especially just so that KC could draft a player who has drawn comparisons to Tyreek Hill.

As if that weren’t enough, the Bills also traded out of the No. 32 spot and moved to the No. 33 spot.

The Chiefs seem to be pretty thrilled to have added Worthy.

“A good route-runner. He’s not a big kid, at least weight-wise. But I think you’ll see the toughness he’s got, which jumped out (on film). A tremendous worker,” Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said of Worthy.

If Worthy turns out to be a dynamic player in the NFL and makes life harder on the Bills when they face off against each other, you won’t hear the end of this trade.

It’s also interesting to note that Worthy’s draft dream came true.
