NBA props for Friday 4/12: And the KAT came back

I almost wasn't going to be able to make a post today, but then I saw that all 30 teams are in action and I could not resist. Having so much choice is not always a good thing though and yesterday we went just 1-3, in hindsight, we were way too heavy on the Trail Blazers. That is on me.

This is the last post of the regular season so let's go get 'em. I am psyched for the playoffs. The NBA might have the best, for enjoyment and wagering.

NBA Props for Friday, April 12

Lu Dort Over 3.5 Rebounds (+114)
Bucks vs. Thunder, 8 p.m. ET

It is the last post of the season so might as well stick to the hits, right? Dort is always a favorite of mine because he shows up every game. This is right at his seasonal averages so I will grab it gladly. OKC is getting a diminished Milwaukee team and with Giannis out there are more rebounds for everyone. They need the game too.

Jamal Murray has More Threes than Victor Wembanyama (+105)
Nuggets vs. Spurs, 8 p.m. ET

I love the way DK has created spread for lots of head-to-head bets now, even though I am going Moneyline. Wemby is awesome of course but in games against the champs he has not shot it well, maybe that is the way they are defending him or because he is trying too hard against Jokic, I don't know, but I like that to continue. In April, Murray is making 50% of his threes too.

Jimmy Butler Over 5.5 Rebounds (+124)
Raptors vs. Heat, 8 p.m. ET

This is right at season averages for Butler. This is actually a pretty big game for Miami as they are looking to try and swap spots with Philly and host in the first round of the play-in tourney in the East. It is never a bad idea to bet on him when they need him the most. He has bested this in two of the past three games too.

Karl-Anthony Towns Over 2.5 Assists (+120)
Hawks vs. Timberwolves, 8 p.m. ET

KAT is back. Minnesota needs him and if they are going to play him at all before the playoffs, they might as well let him play. This is actually under his seasonal average which makes sense but creates an opportunity. If he plays 11 minutes we are not in good shape but if he can play say 25 we should cover this easily. He might be more decoy than Star tonight as he eases back in.
